5 x Instagrammable places in Rotterdam

Trendy concept stores, coffee bars and cool restaurants; sometimes, a cup of coffee and an extensive menu is just not enough. Besides the food on our plate, we are on the look out for some eye candy too. From vintage vibes to urban jungles: you always eat with your eyes first. Therefore, we share five Instagrammable places in Rotterdam, in no particular order.

Supermercado (Schiedamse Vest 91A)
Have a taste of the South American culture that you can experience through their dishes, cocktails and interior as well. Wooden tables, colored tiles, cactuses and lots of greens makes the whole setting Instagram-worthy. A homey setting where you can dine, hang for hours and fill-up your phone storage with lots of photos!

Groos (Achterklooster 13)
A place where the products that are sold are just as Instagrammable as the store itself. This concept store located in Het Industriegebouw has an authentic charm to it and is filled with art, design and lots of gimmicks wrapped up in eye-catching packaging. The open space invites you to walk in, even if it’s just for a short visit. And to top it all off, the shelving unit displays unique Rotterdam products, which are the finishing touches on one of the most Instagrammable concept stores in the city.

Altijd in de Buurt  (Weena 709)
When you add different seating areas with lots of green plants, wooden furniture and a swing, it turns your lunchroom and creative workspace into an inspiring backdrop. Ideal for making that perfect selfie or flatlay. At Altijd in de Buurt, the interior consists of a mix of different materials, colors and furniture. All these elements are mixed together to create a uniform setting that invites good vibes only. Every picture that you take here will complement your Instagram-feed.

Keet (Oppert 2A)
This concept store is not only aesthetically pleasing, but is also a cute place to drink or eat at (but be careful with your wallet while visiting..). After strolling around in the shop, you can enjoy a good cup of coffee and some delicious French tartelettes at their coffee shop. Keetcafé and their minimalist interior design is cozy, but more than anything, really photogenic.

Parqiet (Baden Powelllaan 20)
Don’t forget to charge your smartphone, because a visit to Parkcafé Parqiet is definitely worth a pic or two! In the midst of The Park, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, you will find the ideal and cozy place for breakfast and lunch. Surrounded by warm hues, wild flowers in vases and framed art displayed on the walls, time seems to pass slowly. With the smell of freshly baked croissants and coffee, you can let your mind wander (and make sure to capture the moment with your phone.)
